The Story

  1. 01Origins

    Where It Started

I still remember washing cars for $5 and saving up to buy packs in high school. Thirty years later, I’ve rediscovered the fun in collecting.

  2. 02Challenge

    The Problem

I’m now bidding on Fanatics and eBay, negotiating deals on Reddit and Facebook. After running into issues with auction houses and getting scammed on eBay, I realized there had to be a better way to protect collectors.

  3. 03Solution

    Why XCLSV

So I created XCLSV, a platform for buyers and sellers to trade with confidence without the burden of fees and taxes. It’s also a great way to showcase your personal collection that you might want to sell if the offer is right. We’re just getting started. Reach out with any ideas to make this a better experience for the community.

Questions

Everything you need to know about
showcasing your
collection, buying, selling,
and building trust on XCLSV.

  • XCLSV is a free, community-driven platform built for collectors to showcase their collections, discover unique collectibles, and connect directly with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you’re buying, selling, or simply sharing your prized possessions, XCLSV gives your collection a home without charging platform commissions or transaction fees.

  • Found something you love? Simply reach out to the collector through their profile to discuss pricing, negotiate, and arrange the transaction directly. XCLSV doesn’t process payments, handle shipping, or take commissions. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for their own transactions, giving collectors the freedom to make deals on their own terms.

  • Trust is at the heart of XCLSV. Collectors can receive Vouches from other members of the community to build their reputation over time. Combined with optional identity verification powered by Veriff, these features help establish credibility, reduce the risk of fraud, and give collectors greater confidence when dealing directly with one another. We always encourage buyers and sellers to exercise due diligence when completing transactions.

  • Traditional marketplaces focus on transactions. XCLSV focuses on collectors and the community behind the hobby. Discover fellow collectors who share your passion for specific players, teams, or collectibles, showcase your personal collection, and build lasting connections with people who appreciate what you collect. Because collecting is about more than buying and selling — it’s about the people and passion that make the hobby special.
